REUSABLE CUPS AT PATHÉ

At Pathé we think it is important to always look for improvements that are good for the world. Reuse is part of this. In addition, as of 1 January 2024, single-use plastic packaging will no longer be allowed, which is why we are already looking at reusable cups!

Do you regularly enjoy a cup of Starbucks, a Swirl, Fanta Frozen or Coca Cola FreeStyle during the movie? Then you can use the reusable cups for this from now on. You will find them next to the Starbucks, Swirl, Fanta Frozen or Coca Cola FreeStyle vending machines in the shop and you can return the cups at the end of the movie just uitside the theatre you movie was screening.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE REUSABLE CUPS

1. CAN I BRING MY OWN REUSABLE CUP TO THE CINEMA? 
Of course you can! But if you forget it once in a while, we always offer you the option of using a Pathé reusable cup, so you can still enjoy your favourite drink.
 

2. DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT FOR THE CUP? 
No, you do not have to pay extra for the cup. We do ask you to return the cup after the film so that we can clean it and reuse it.
 

3. I LIKE THE CUP AND WOULD LIKE TO TAKE IT HOME. CAN I? 
No, unfortunately this is not possible. 
 

4. HOW CAN I BE SURE THE CUP IS CLEANED PROPERLY? 
The cups are washed by a professional external company according to strict food safety standards. So no need to worry about this.
 

5. IN WHICH CINEMAS DO YOU FIND THE REUSABLE CUPS? 
You will find the reusable cups in all Pathé cinemas. Since the end of December 2023, plastic-coated paper cups are no longer available in our cinemas.
