Een bijzonder oorlogsverhaal tussen eer en geweten in de periode voorafgaande aan de luchtlandingsactieoperatie Amherst die in april 1945 in Drenthe plaatsvond met als doel de bevrijding van de stad Groningen. De Duits-Nederlandse officier Ludwig Mengelberg, in het Duitse leger luisterend naar de bijnaam 'Der Fliegende Holländer', heeft steeds grotere moeite met de verschrikkingen van de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Na een persoonlijk drama wordt hij overgeplaatst naar Nederland en neemt hij het drastische besluit om in Drenthe te helpen bij het verbergen van onderduikers. Daarmee pleegt hij natuurlijk hoogverraad bij zijn eigen manschappen. Wanneer de SS wantrouwen krijgt en het verzet oprukt, zet Mengelberg niet alleen zijn eigen leven op het spel, maar ook dat van de mensen die hij probeert te helpen.

The programme at Pathé runs from Thursday to Wednesday. Every Monday we create the programming for the next week. The new program is posted online every Monday evening after 6:00 PM, which happens later that evening.
A few screenings may be planned ahead of time. These are mainly IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Cinema, Dolby Atmos and ScreenX screenings. After Monday evening the programming is complete until Wednesday a week later.
You can buy tickets easy and quick via our Pathé App or website. It is also possible to buy tickets at the cinema. Please note, all our cinemas are pin only. It is not possible to pay with cash.
Buying tickets online:
- Select the screening of your choice
- Select your seat in the seating plan and click 'continue'
- You will now see an order overview
- You can redeem a voucher by selecting 'Enter the code'
- Choose a ticket type by clicking on the plus symbol. Select if applicable a subscription or 'kids ticket'
- Click on 'Next' at the bottom of the page
- Log in with your Club Pathé account
- Pay for the transaction, this is also possible with a Pathé Giftcard or Nationale Bioscoopbon
- You will receive confirmation of your order in your account and by email
